The waiting is over as the 2021 NBA Draft day has arrived. At 7:00 pm CT, the OKC Thunder will finally get answers to the questions fans have awaited for months.

Sam Presti will be on the clock up to six occasions this evening holding the sixth, 16th, 18th, 34th, 36th, and 55th picks. That is unless the VP successfully managed to negotiate a deal to move upward.

This class is hailed as possessing an unprecedented depth of riches including a potential quartet of generational talents. The teams holding the top four draft positions are who the Thunder V.P. has aggressively been targeting heading into this evening.

Although the balls didn’t bounce in the franchise’s favor at the NBA Draft Lottery tonight has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with skill and collateral. Something Presti has more of than any of his peers. The primary objective is to draft one of those generational talents and add depth as Presti begins to reformulate the foundation of a future championship dynasty.
