OKC Thunder: One free agent target from every Eastern Conference team

2021 Draft Picks:

When you’re the defending champions free agency shouldn’t be about making sweeping changes. That said, the Bucks got the fortune of good health in a season where COVID and injuries played havoc with many of the top clubs on both coasts — and one big sneaker helped their cause as well.

Of the free agents on the Bucks list of seven at least three (Tucker, Portis, Forbes) played a significant role in winning the championship while another has special sibling links to the MVP.

Championship experience is invaluable but for the Thunder not necessary at this stage of the rebuild. Forbes would offer 3-point shooting to a club in desperate need of it but give up as many points on the opposite side of the hardwood.

There’s no one who Presti should be jumping to call as the moratorium kicks off tonight but pressed to offer one player Axel Toupane is the best option but at 28-years old he’s well outside the timeline.
