Before the draft even began the Wizards and Lakers were burning up social media with news of the Russell Westbrook trade for Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope plus the Lakers pick which they sent to Indy for Aaron Holiday.

That Washington also added one of the best 3-point prospects (Kispert) and the underrated Todd.

With Brooks gone and replaced by Wes Unseld Jr., the team will look to turn a new page and build upon their late-season success.

As always all paths link to Bradley Beal who will be eligible for an extension in 2022 although, he’s been the one superstar most determined to stay put.

As for a free agent, Sam Presti might desire its slim pickings from the Wizards group though 21-year old Bongo would be my choice, albeit with not much emphasis on making it a reality.
