2021 Free Agents:

  • Torrey Craig
  • Langston Galloway
  • Frank Kaminsky
  • E’Twaun Moore
  • Abdel Nader
  • Chris Paul (opted out)
  • Cameron Payne

Instead of using their 29th pick to add a prospect, the Suns used it (and also sent Jevon Carter) in a trade with the Nets to get Landry Shamet who’ll add another 3-point shooter to the club.

As per Shams Charania, Chris Paul declined his final year worth $44.2 million. Reports suggested the former OKC Thunder captain Chris Paul opted out of his final contract year and will re-sign with the Suns.

Whispers were Phoenix’s initial offer wasn’t satisfactory but CP3 and the franchise were invested in getting a deal completed that will likely find the veteran inking a three or four-year deal around the $100 to $120 million value (or $30 to $35 million per year).

Like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Deandre Ayton can sign his five-year $168 million extension at midnight.

As for the Suns’ free agents, the only asset worth kicking the tires on is Torrey Craig who showcased two-way ability playing the role of glue guy.
