OKC Thunder Summer League Roster: Wings

#13 Oscar da Silva, 6’9, 230 pounds, F, Stanford

the 22-year-old went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft, the Stanford product played four years in the Pac-12 earning All-Conference honors twice, and Pac-12 All-Defensive honors once.

For his career, da Silva posted 12-points per game, hauling in six rebounds, dishing out two assists, earning nearly a steal and a block per contest. During his senior season, the big man averaged a career-high 18 points.

#15 Josh Hall, 6’8, 200 pounds, F, Moravian Prep

Josh Hall is an exciting and incredible athlete. He can jump out of the gym, dominate in the lane even in the NBA, while having great potential. That is what encouraged Sam Presti to ink Hall to a two-way contract a year ago.

More from Thunderous Intentions

However, injuries derailed Hall’s rookie year, sidelining him for all but 21 games. He posted four points, two rebounds, and an assist per game.

The North Carolina native will be in a battle for the Thunder’s second two-way spot this season. The organization clearly values him after extending him a qualifying offer, and he has the best chance to continue the team’s recent run of converting two-way deals into full-time NBA pacts.

#8 Jaylen Hoard, 6’8, 216 pounds, F, Wake Forest

Jaylen Hoard and Aaron Wiggins are long-time best friends, now they are playing together on the Oklahoma City Thunder summer league roster.

They obviously want this story to continue, as the team has already guaranteed Wiggins a spot on next year’s team. Hoard is not so lucky thus far.

Like Hall, Hoard was on a two-way deal last year after the Thunder converted Moses Brown to a full NBA contract. He played in 19-games, averaging six points, three rebounds, and an assist per game.

#30 Emmitt Williams, 6’6, 225 pounds, F, LSU

Williams went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft, spending last season in the G-League bubble with the Clippers squad.  In the bubble, Williams averaged four points, four rebounds, and a turnover per game.

#50 Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, 6’9, 230 pounds, F, Villanova

The OKC Thunder traded a pair of second-round picks for the right to select Jeremiah Robinson-Earl in the 2021 NBA Draft. I would expect he logs most of his minutes at the five as the team leans fully into this position-less small ball style of play.

Robinson-Earl was an elite rebounder and finisher at the rim in college. He can defend bigger guards, forwards, and big men which will allow for Gibbs to place him in the middle during Summer League action.

JRE represents the first player in Thunder history to wear the number 50, and I would expect fans to fall in love with his game during this five-game stretch.

The OKC Thunder summer league action tips-off on August 8th, 2021 against Cade Cunningham and the Pistons at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
