Round 1:  Jokic, Antetokounmpo, Doncic, and Towns

This quartet makes a ton of sense with Jokic coming off his MVP campaign and without Jamal Murray available until much later in the season.

Likewise, Doncic is sure to be the focus in Dallas of new head coach Jason Kidd and could be in line for a triple-double average this season. Additionally, the Mavericks didn’t do much to dramatically impact their offense this offseason.  As a rookie, he made comments about winning MVP in his fifth season, and while he’s just in year four, he’s the only top-five player without a bonafide Robin to his Batman (unless Porzingis experiences a massive breakthrough campaign).

Towns is also a logical pick as the Wolves should benefit from the offensive mind of head coach Chris Finch who’ll gain a full training camp. Last year the Wolves struggled to have their core healthy at the same time. Notably, the Wolves ranked 28th offensively pre-All-Star break and were tied for 10th post ASB. With KAT and the core healthy, it could be a big year for him. Factor in the tough year he just experienced and his desire for the Wolves to participate in the postseason.

As for the two-time MVP Antetokounmpo, his comments that he wasn’t satisfied should serve as a warning to opponents.  That and the fact he shed the issues of shooting in the NBA Finals nailing shots at the line and from the field. GA was already an impossible player to guard but if he’s back and shooting confidently he could blow up the stats sheet.
