Four games into the season and the OKC Thunder are still searching for a win. OKC will have an opportunity to correct that status this week but it won’t be easy given the opponents queued up.

The Thunder will be home for two more matches although the next two will occur on a back-to-back set. The hope is the team can gain a victory so there isn’t that constant pressure of “when will they win a game?”.

First up is a back-to-back set versus the Warriors and Lakers with both games at home. Then they’ll embark on a three-game road trip with another tough slog facing the Warriors, Clippers, and Lakers.

OKC Thunder vs Golden State Warriors preview – The West spectrum

That’s a rather daunting quintet of games for OKC to be facing as they seek that elusive first win.

Then again, this is sort of what this season was expected to be. OKC came very close to coming back in the match against the 76ers but back-to-back triples by Philly put the game out of reach.

While oddsmakers will favor the opponents in every one of the above matches there is the potential for a team to underestimate the Thunder. If that happens, OKC will most assuredly take advantage.

Tonight’s match features the two ends of the spectrum in the West. Golden State sits atop the West ladder as one of only three (Jazz/Bulls) unbeaten teams remaining in the league. Meanwhile, OKC is at the opposite end of the spectrum as one of only two teams that are winless (Pistons).

With that, let’s jump into the preview and how the Thunder can end the Warriors’ unbeaten streak.
