The Days of Thunder: Week one OKC Thunder recap
By Rylan Stiles
The OKC Thunder are back! We are a week into regular-season games with the Thunder completing three of their 82 contests including their home opener. Monday’s are typically a drag, so let’s start a fun new series that we can all look forward to every Monday. “The Days of our Thunder”.
If working from home has taught us anything it is that in the middle of a weekday you can always find a soap opera on TV. Some of us on sick days would watch the Price is Right while skipping school, others, the days of our lives. The NBA is exactly like a soap opera only non-scripted and incredibly unpredictable. Thus, the Days of our Thunder is born and we will track it all every Monday. This first edition will come out on Wednesday exactly a week since the Oklahoma City Thunder opened their season with a quick turnaround to our Monday schedule!
The Week One Recap for the OKC Thunder features impress rookies, blow losses, and a breakout quarter
The OKC Thunder are currently 0-4 with losses to the Utah Jazz, the Houston Rockets, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Golden State Warriors. They play another game tonight against the L.A. Lakers, what have been the biggest observations so far this season? What has been the good, the bad, and the ugly? What is our pick for the song of the week? All of that will be answered in this edition of “The Days of our Thunder.”
If you have observations throughout the week or song suggestions be sure to submit them or comment them down below! Now let’s get into this week’s edition with the first observation: The Kids are alright.
