Key matchups:

What the Thunder can expect is a Warriors team who learned their lesson in OKC and won’t be taking this young crew for granted. That should equate to a more focused Dubs squad right from the tip.

While Stephen Curry is the player the Thunder needs to pay the most attention to there are key supporting cast members to be cognizant of as Tuesday taught them.

Andrew Wiggins always seems to have strong showings against the Thunder and he was a key contributor in the victory on Tuesday. While his perimeter shot was off (0 of 5) he compiled an impressive stat line in OKC with 21 points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block.

While Jordan Poole was the youngster who made early strides this season it was Damion Lee who gave the Thunder issues with 20 points compared to Poole’s 10.

Since they just played four days ago the memories are fresh and that means minor tweaks can make the difference. Luguentz Dort will once again be shadowing Curry but just as the Thunder defensive specialist will bring knowledge from Tuesday so too will the Warriors star who is adept at figuring out ways to fool his defenders.

Although Curry is the main focus, it’s equally important to limit Wiggins, Poole, and Lee. From an offensive standpoint, Mark Daigneault needs to include some sets for someone other than SGA. If he can get Bazley rolling early that would give SGA more freedom to work.
