Warriors projected starting lineup:

The Warriors have a cemented starting five and Steve Kerr won’t likely make any changes from Tuesday to this match. The only shift might be his minute distribution of the reserves with Damion Lee likely getting more minutes.

  • Stephen Curry – point guard
  • Jordan Poole – shooting guard
  • Andrew Wiggins – small forward
  • Draymond Green – power forward
  • Kevon Looney – center

Warriors Injuries:

It’s almost an identical injury list as Tuesday although there is an outside chance fans could get to see another Dubs rookie in this contest:

  • James Wiseman (meniscus) continues to rehab from his knee injury.
  • Jonathan Kuminga (strained patellar tendon) has been cleared for full practices with the team. He’ll be re-evaluated on Friday so there is a potential he might suit up Saturday.
  • Klay Thompson continues his rehab with no definitive return date but projections are just before or after the New Year.

OKC Thunder projected starting lineup:

On Tuesday, Mark Daigneault started his typical four of  Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey. Luguentz Dort and Darius Bazley. The center position has been the one starting role shifting through the early season. On Tuesday the coach elected to start rookie Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. He could go with JRE again or Isaiah Roby, or Derrick Favors.

The interesting caveat for the match will be how Daigneault manages the minute allocation and which reserves he favors. If the mandate remains tanking it could mean he’ll lean more heavily to the rookies and sophomores over players like Kenrich Williams, Ty Jerome and Favors who got extended playing time versus the Lakers as the Thunder sought the victory.

OKC Thunder injuries:

No injuries — but Daigneault could elect to rest players.

History:

In the history between these two clubs, the OKC Thunder and Golden State Warriors have met 257 times. The Thunder have won 141 games while the Warriors have won 116 matches.

Last season, Golden State won all three games and took the early lead this year with the 106-98 victory on Tuesday.
