Based on the myriad of injuries and uncertainty about some players availability the starting rotation could emulate their last game versus the Mavericks:

  • Devonte Graham- point guard
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker (Shai’s cousin) – shooting guard
  • Josh Hart – small forward
  • Garrett Temple- power forward
  • Jonas Valanciunas- center’

Pelicans injuries:

  • Brandon Ingram questionable with the hip injury
  • Daulton Hommes (fibula) is questionable
  • Herb Jones is in the concussion protocol program and also questionable.
  • Zion Williamson remains out healing from offseason surgery to repair a fracture in his foot and is behind schedule for his projected return date.
