The OKC Thunder will take on the Miami Heat on the second night of a back-to-back in the Paycom Center after falling to the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday Night as Kevin Durant dominated the Bricktown hardwood like old times.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will catch the Miami Heat at 8-5 to start the year and the fifth-place Eastern Conference team might be without Jimmy Butler. In their last ten games, the Heat are 6-4, a game better than the 5-5 OKC Thunder in that time.

OKC Thunder forward Darius Bazley is questionable, Big man Derrick Favors is OUT, and the Miami Heat might miss key contributor

The Miami Heat list Jimmy Butler as questionable for this contest with a nagging right ankle sprain. Bam Adebayo is probable to play with a bruised left knee. Markieef Morris and Victor Oladipo are both OUT tonight for Miami. Morris is dealing with a whiplash injury suffered from his dust-up with Denver star and reigning MVP, Nikola Jokic.

The Oklahoma City Thunder held out Mike Muscala a night ago for rest, now, it is Derrick Favors’s turn to rest on the second night of a back-to-back, the two elder statesmen of the team will flip the rest duty roles tonight.

Darius Bazley, who made great strides in the last five games before last night’s disappointing outing against the Nets, is listed as questionable. The OKC Thunder will be cautious with Bazley who is dealing with a foot injury.

The Offical NBA Injury report calls it Plantar Fasciitis, an injury that held Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out for the majority of the 2020-21 NBA Season. It is unclear the severity of Darius Bazley’s injury, but Mark Daigneault will update us on that front pregame.

The Oklahoma City Thunder, after seeing their first winning streak of the year snap, will look to end this losing skid before it starts against the high-power heat.
