The OKC Thunder are set to take on the Washington Wizards, welcoming one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference to the Paycom Center. The Oklahoma City Thunder are in the midst of a four-game losing streak, with the most recent coming Wednesday against the Utah Jazz.

In the last two games, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been forced to play without their star, max contract, point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, and the other youngsters have stepped up in that timeframe making for a scrappy game against the Jazz.

OKC Thunder listed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as active against the Washington Wizards on Friday Night in the Paycom Center

The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking to play spoiler against the Washington Wizards fairytale season under first-year head coach Wes Unseld Jr, the son of arguably the best Wizard/Bullet of all time. The Wiz kids are looking to snap a two-game skid, so something has to give this game. Overall Washington is 11-7, and 6-4 in their last ten outings. On the flip side, The OKC Thunder come into the game on a four-game skid, and 4-6 in their last ten tilts.

Mark Daigneault took the podium today Friday Night ahead of the Oklahoma City Thunder clash with the Washington Wizards and informed those of us in the media that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is back in action. The Star guard will have no restrictions and return to the starting lineup tonight in the Paycom Center. OKC Thunder fans will get to enjoy the return of their max contract leader. Everyone is hoping for a more typical SGA game than we have recently seen.

Mark Daigneault also informed the media that Aaron Wiggins is out tonight. The second-round pick who is currently on a two-way deal has played a ton of minutes recently, and with Daigneault not putting him in the rotation this year, the team will not waste one of his active days. On a Two-way deal, players can only be active for fifty tilts that year.
