The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to face off with the L.A. Clippers on Saturday night following two days off for the squad. The last time the OKC Thunder took the hardwood, they played one of the best games of the NBA season, a back and forth affair with the New Orleans Pelicans that saw back-to-back circus shots collimating in a 61-footer from Devonte Graham at the buzzer to ice the game for the Pelicans. The Thunder missed Lu Dort in that contest with an ankle sprain.

The OKC Thunder returned to the practice floor on Friday afternoon, and Mark Daigneault met with those of us in the media afterward to give an update on Dort. The Thunder bench boss said things are trending in the right direction for Lu Dort to be available tonight against the L.A. Clippers.

OKC Thunder list Lu Dort as questionable, Clippers might be without Paul George

Still, despite Mark Daigneault’s optimism on Friday afternoon, the Oklahoma City Thunder have tabbed Lu Dort as questionable for tonight’s game against the L.A. Clippers. Given the sentiment from Daigneault yesterday, it still seems more likely than not that Dort suits up and plays today. Though, we will get confirmation on that before tip-off as the Thunder head ball coach meets with the media around 5:30 local time.

The Thunder organization has also called up Aleksej Pokusevski, Ty Jerome, and Tre Mann from their G-League affiliate the OKC Blue. The team has sent Vit Krejci down to the Blue making him unavailable, and list two-way forward Aaron Wiggins, who started on Wednesday against the Pelicans, as out.

The L.A. Clippers list Paul George the former MVP runner up and currently averaging the second-most points per game of his career is listed a questionable with an elbow sprain. The Clippers will also miss Marcus Morris Sr. who is in the health and safety protocols, Serge Ibaka, Jason Preston, and of course Kawhi Leonard. Nicolas Batum is listed as questionable to wrap up the Clippers injury report with a right ankle sprain.
