The OKC Thunder are playing some of their best basketball right now, as the team continues to roll with one of their more impressive wins of the year over the Denver Nuggets. The Oklahoma City Thunder, for the first time all year, controlled the game from the start against the Nuggets.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are now 5-5 in their last ten games, winners of three straight while sitting at 11-19, two-and-a-half games back of the NBA Play-In Tournament. The OKC Thunder find themselves at a difficult crossroads, While the Thunder faithful wobbles back and forth between tanking and not tanking with each passing game, the team still just has one more win than the Houston Rockets who are currently last in the Western Conference.

The OKC Thunder will face the Suns who will be without key role players

The reigning Western Conference Champions, the Phoenix Suns, are picking up right where they left off. The Chris Paul-led Suns are 25-5, 8-2 in their last ten games, and on a four-game winning streak. That is good enough for the best record in the Western Conference, though only a half-game better than the Golden State Warriors.

The OKC Thunder are on the second night of a back-to-back, and after resting Mike Muscala on the first leg of this back-to-back he returns to the Thunder tonight against the Suns. The OKC Thunder will rest his fellow veteran big man Derrick Favors against the Suns, giving Mark Daigneault an interesting decision to make when it comes to the starting five. Vit Krejci remains out as he is on a G-Leauge Assignment.

The Phoenix Suns will be missing Abdel Nader (Right knee, Injury management), Frank Kaminsky (Right knee, Stress reaction), Chandler Hutchinson (G-Leauge Assignment), and Dario Saric (Right ACL Tear) in this tilt against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
