OKC Thunder still in search of their first win of 2022: Nets Preview
Injuries and projected starting lineups:
Nets projected starting lineup:
The big news is Kevin Durant won’t play tonight as the team elects to get him some rest. Patty Mills, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Nic Claxton are also out so the starting lineup is a bit of a guess.
The frontcourt specifically is a question as Blake Griffin, Day’Ron Sharpe, Bruce Brown or some other small forwards could slot in at the power forward and center position.
- Point guard: James Harden
- Shooting guard: Cam Thomas
- Small forward: Kessler Edwards
- Power forward: James Johnson (or maybe Bruce Brown)
- Center: Day’Ron Sharpe
Nets injuries:
- Kevin Durant – is out (rest)
- LaMarcus Aldridge (foot) is out indefinitely
- Patty Mills – is out (rest)
- Kyrie Irving – out (ineligible)
- Joe Harris (ankle) is out indefinitely
- Nic Claxton (hamstring) was downgraded to out Thursday.
OKC Thunder injuries:
- Kenrich Williams is in quarantine and is out indefinitely.
- Isaiah Roby is also in quarantine and was downgraded to out Thursday.
