OKC Thunder down three starters, four contributors vs New York Knicks on Valentine’s Day

Early this morning the Oklahoma City Thunder added the defensive star, Lu Dort, to the team’s injury report, he is being held out of this contest against the New York Knicks with a shoulder injury. Mark Daigneault will meet with the media before tip-off and inform us of the severity of the injury. Given that he was not on the team’s initial injury report, it appears to be just a nagging injury that will not sideline him long though that is just pure speculation.

The New York Knicks injury report sees them down Derrick Rose, RJ Barrett, and Luka Samanic. Nerlens Noel, Cam Reddish, Mitchell Robinson all remain questionable for tip-off. Their status will be up in the air until game time.

The OKC Thunder will look to finish the pre-All-Star break portion of their schedule strong as they get Aaron Wiggins back from injury fresh off inking an NBA contract in his second game since that ankle injury. Vit Krejci is now healthy as Mark Daigneault tries to work him into the rotation, and Isaiah Roby has been great since his return including a three-block night against Chicago Saturday.
