This is a stable pick for a Magic organization that is known to take swings on lengthy prospects with upside. Enter Mo Bomba, Jonathan Isaac, trading for Bol Bol, and a General Manager who pounded the table for Giannis Antetokounmpo at his previous stop in Milwaukee before getting a better gig in Toronto who also had a type in lengthy forwards.
Assuming Jabari Smith Jr is the pick, Givony reports the Auburn product is “thrilled with that development” of landing in Orlando and being the top pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. That leaves the Thunder on the clock with the second overall pick in the NBA Draft.

We have seen Josh Giddey’s flirtatious Instagram comments under the Gonzaga products posts teasing the Thunder fanbase with mysterious eyeball emojis, but Givony definitively states Chet Holmgren is thrilled with the possible marriage with the OKC Thunder, a marriage that is “overwhelmingly expectation from NBA executives with whom has spoken with at the NBA combine.”
Chet Holmgren is a seven-foot big man that is just 20 years old with perimeter skills ranking in the 98th percentile offensively in the country as a freshman. Holmgren can play make, dribble, finish around the rim, and most importantly shoot. He shot the three-ball at a 41-percent clip in college and hopes to join the 50/40/90 club once he arrives in the league.
