The OKC Thunder have been known to be extreme and have prepared their fans to expect the unexpected, but selecting Shaedon Sharpe is nearly impossible even for Sam Presti

Look, This is by far the least likely option, but if I am going to threaten to retire if Sam Presti does something with the 2nd overall pick not listed in this article, I have to include it. Would the OKC Thunder draft Shaedon Sharpe with the second pick in the 2022 NBA Draft? Absolutely not.

Even Shaedon Sharpe’s camp, who wants Sharpe to land in Bricktown on Thursday, is preaching location matters more than draft position, which of course is a nod to the 12th overall pick OKC owns. However, anytime you mention the “Kentucky” product or the 2nd overall pick fans either have to panic or try to be funny with claims or fears that Sam Presti is such a mad man he will select Sharpe in this slot.

Again, absolutely not. Though, I do love Shaedon Sharpe. He is the fifth prospect on my big board, and yes, I have watched more films than what is on Youtube. Still, it is hard to judge a prospect on high school level basketball, but the upside and potential are just too intriguing to pass up in the 6-12 range of this draft.

Shaedon Sharpe is an incredible athlete that offers perimeter shooting, plus ball-handling, and has defensive potential despite not being enticed to participate defensively in High School.

There you have it, the possible outcomes for the 2nd overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft for the OKC Thunder. You are prepared for any possible outcome at the top of the draft. Which is your favorite?
