The OKC Thunder are putting the finishing touches on their 2022 NBA Draft preparations as the big day comes in just over two days, though we already know when the first time the top prospects in the draft class will be in action.

As of right now, the Oklahoma City Thunder control the 2nd, 12th, and 34th selection in the 2022 NBA Draft only time will tell if they make all three picks, or trade-up, back, or sideways by the time Thursday rolls around. Though the NBA just released the 2022 NBA Summer League Schedule, and the Thunder are featured in marquee matchups.

OKC Thunder full NBA Summer League schedule was released for Salt Lake City and Vegas, when will we see this young core in action?

The Thunder are participating in two NBA Summer Leagues this summer, the first takes place in Salt Lake City as Oklahoma City will compete with the Utah Jazz on July 5th at 8 p.m., the Memphis Grizzlies on July 6th at 6 p.m., and the Philadelphia 76ers on July 7th. While this has not been confirmed yet, the Salt Lake City circuit typically takes place on NBATV.

Josh Giddey, Aleksej Pokusevski, Vit Krejci, Lindy Waters III, and Tre Mann are all confirmed to be participating in Summer League with Sam Presti saying at his end-of-the-season press conference that Salt Lake City will mainly be for veterans. Maybe Aaron Wiggins, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, and Theo Maledon will compete as well but the rest of the Summer League roster will be comprised of rookies selected Thursday, Undrafted players, and G-Leaguers.

The OKC Thunder will then transition into the Vegas Summer League session where they will play the Houston Rockets which will feature the 3rd overall pick at 7 p.m. July 9th on ESPN. Then, the boys in blue take on the Orlando Magic on July 11th at 8 p.m. on ESPN which will be the 1st and 2nd overall picks going head to head as of right now.

After those two headliner matchups, things do not get easier, the Thunder will play the Sacramento Kings at 7 p.m. on NBATV on July 13th. The Kings hold the 4th overall pick with current rumors the OKC Thunder are attempting to move up from 12 to swipe that selection.

The pool play ends with the Golden State Warriors who should have Jonathan Kuminga and James Wiseman on their roster on July 15th at 6 p.m. on ESPN.

It is important to note that while these rosters have flashy names after a game or two of Summer League traditionally players like Josh Giddey, Tre Mann, and the like will be shut down.
