The Oklahoma City Thunder sit just a month away from training camp and are set to tip off the 2022-23 NBA season. The OKC Thunder are going to tip-off their regular season on October 19th against the Minnesota Timberwolves in second overall pick Chet Holmgren’s home state. The only other leak we found out before the NBA released the full schedule was a Nationally Televised game (NBATV) against the Houston Rockets on November 26th.
As the Oklahoma City Thunder open up their season on the road, their first game in the Paycom Center will be October 23rd against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This matchup will provide OKC fans their first look in person at the new roster that features three new lottery picks, Josh Giddey, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and the rest of the core.
The Oklahoma City Thunder’s full schedule has been released, the regular season starts on October 19th, and their home opener is slated for October 23rd also against the Minnesota Timberwolves
As always, the OKC Thunder will play 41 home games and 41 road games, with the NBA regular season spanning from October 18th through the 9th of April.
After their first game of the season on October 19th in Minnesota, the Thunder will go to Denver on Saturday, October 22nd before flying back home for their home opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 23rd the second night of a back-to-back also facing the Timberwolves.
the OKC Thunder play six games in October featuring three home and three road games, 16 games in November with eight games at home and the same amount on the road, and 14 games in December eight of which are at home and six on the road, 14 games in January with seven home games and seven road games, 11 games in February that features five home and six road games, with 17 contests in March with eight home games and nine away from the Paycom Center, as the season come to an end with four games in April evenly distributed between home and road.
