The Oklahoma City Thunder have a superstar in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who is averaging 30 points per game on Thanksgiving as OKC Thunder give thanks for his standout performance

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is locked into a five-year max contract extension with no opt-outs in the deal, keeping him in Bricktown for a very long time. Despite some forced rumblings, Gilgeous-Alexander has said at every chance he gets that he knows what he signs up for, he is committed to Oklahoma City, and he likes the plan that General Manager Sam Presti has laid out to him for the future of the organization.

The OKC Thunder point guard has gained national attention in recent weeks for his play on the court as people start to take notice of what Oklahoma City is building in Bricktown.

Averaging 31 points, four rebounds, and six assists on 52 percent shooting from the floor, 39 percent from three-point land, and 90 percent from the line.

From matching his career high in points to buzzer beaters, leading the league in drives, prolific mid-range, and rim finishing, with improved defense, this season could not have gone any better for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who is receiving MVP chants at the Paycom Center.

Oklahoma City Thunder fans should be thankful that the organization has a superstar, in a star-driven league it continues to take pressure off of this OKC rebuild when the foundation is on such solid footing with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Chet Holmgren, and company already in the fold and still a mountain of draft picks.
