Game Tonight: OKC Thunder vs Spurs Odds, Injury Report, Prediction, for Nov. 30th
Back home after a tough loss, the OKC Thunder play host to the San Antonio Spurs.
Both teams arrive at the Paycom Center following losses and are each considered prime candidates to vie for that top draft pick — Victor Wembanyama.
OKC followed up a bad loss in Houston with a gritty effort in New Orleans but even after battling back to take the lead couldn’t hold on for the win losing 101-104. Granted the offensive foul called on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at game end was one of those 50-50 situations.
It’s hard to complain about not getting a call when you’ve had 18 trips to the charity stripe — but still, they should’ve called the block (lol).
The Spurs arrive off a baseball set versus the Lakers on the weekend where they got swept. Former Thunder star Russell Westbrook took an elbow to the head that left him bloodied and looking more like he should be in an MMA cage.
Thunderous Intentions offers up the game details including odds, injuries, and notable game time specifics.

Injury Report
Mike Muscala (finger) is out indefinitely while Chet Holmgren (foot) is out for the season.
Josh Richardson (ankle), Romeo Langford (back), and Keita Bates-Diop (ankle) are all questionable. Jakob Poeltl (quad) was downgraded to out and Jeremy Sochan (quad) is also out (sadly, because I wanted to see him play OKC).
Blake Wesley (MCL) is out indefinitely.
OKC Thunder vs. Spurs key matchup and prediction
These teams will play each other three times this year with two games in OKC (the second on December 27th) and one in San Antonio on March 12th.
Last year the Spurs took three of the four meetings but this season they clearly aren’t as motivated to compile wins given that big 7’3″ carrot playing overseas.
Unlike the OKC Thunder who have a legitimate star in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Spurs haven’t found their cornerstone to build around yet. They are developing a bunch of nice young assets like Keldon Johnson. Devin Vassell and the intriguing defensive-minded Jeremy Sochan.
While it might behoove the Thunder to lose this game (hey I’m always keeping my eye on those lottery bingo balls), I’d prefer OKC play to their identity.
That’s because Shai has a much better shot of making the All-Star game if the Thunder can collect a few more victories.
Opportunity abounds as the Spurs allow opponents to score an average of 121 points per game. That ranks dead last among the 30 clubs and they also rank 30 in field goal percentage (51.1%), and perimeter percentage (40.2%).
Factor in the one part of their defense that was functioning was big man Jakob Poeltl defending the paint and rookie Jeremy Sochan showing glimpses of being very special (in a unique Draymond Green sort of way) are both out injured.
Fans should be in for a big scoring night because the Spurs simply don’t defend. For example, the offensively challenged Lakers who ranked in the basement for offensive categories exploded for 145 points against SAS.
After having Herb Jones inside his jersey most of the night facing the Pels I’m sure SGA will appreciate the lackluster defense of the Spurs.
If you’re betting prop bets on SGA I’d go big.
