As the NCAA March Madness tournament rolls around again, the commercials have been revamped to feature college hoops stars past and present. This season, the Oklahoma City Thunder see their two stars, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, star in a pair of AT&T Commercials that will air throughout the big dance.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is in the midst of his first NBA All-Star season, with sights set on his first All-NBA appearance come season’s end. Chet Holmgren has not stepped foot on an NBA floor this season but was the 2nd overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft which is a unicorn-like ceiling once he is healthy and debuts next year for this OKC Thunder squad.

As the Oklahoma City Thunder are playing some of their best basketball and in the mix for the NBA postseason, two of their brightest stars are getting even more TV time.

Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander highlight the new line of AT&T commercials during the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

The Oklahoma City Thunder saw Chet Holmgren kick off this AT&T Commercial line with a bang. Of course, the former Gonzaga star is decked out in Bulldog gear.

Holmgren was not the only Oklahoma City Thunder star to see himself in a commercial. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander joined a fellow Kentucky Wildcat in a very charismatic ad for AT&T’s upgrade plan, highlighting the one-and-done nature of Kentucky’s basketball program.

As the ad spot is talking about trading in phones, the AT&T spokesperson jabs, “do the Kentucky thing,” to which Shai Gilgeous-Alexander responds with his show-stopping smile, “You mean one and done,” before Wildcats star Jacob Toppin showed fantastic acting chops to tie together a wholesome commercial for one of the biggest sponsors of March Madness.
