Shai Gilgeous-Alexander active against the Indiana Pacers

0The Oklahoma City Thunder have upgraded Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to active after initially listing him as out yesterday. Gilgeous-Alexander missed the last two games, in which the OKC Thunder went 1-1, with an ankle sprain he suffered in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Now, SGA returns for a must-win road game against the Indiana Pacers.
The Thunder sit in the tenth seed of the up-and-down NBA Western Conference at 38-39 and a game up on the 11th-seeded Dallas Mavericks and a game and a half up on the 12th-seeded Utah Jazz. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has made a post on Instagram about wanting to make the postseason, and to do that, OKC must handle the 33-44 Pacers on the road.
While it is tough to win on the road, where the OKC Thunder hold just a 15-23 record, the Pacers will be without Chris Duarte, Tyrese Haliburton, and Kendall Brown. Beyond that, Myles Turner and Gabe York are tabbed as questionable with their status up in the air closer to game time. To get to the postseason, this game looms critical.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have upgraded Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to active for tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle sprain) is active tonight for the Oklahoma City Thunder, while Chet Holmgren (Foot) and Kenrich Williams (Wrist) remain out for the season. Lindy Waters III has been dealing with an injury that has kept him sidelined in recent games, and he was upgraded to question this afternoon ahead of the Pacers tilt.
Around the NBA, the Timberwolves and Lakers will do battle as two teams in the play-in tournament currently, the Warriors holding onto the sixth seed host the Spurs, and the Jazz travel to Boston in what looks to be a tough matchup.
