The Oklahoma City Thunder have secured an NBA Play-in bid, earning the tenth seed in the Western Conference to return to postseason play for the first time in two years. That is the longest drought for the OKC Thunder since relocating from Seattle.
As the final day of the NBA regular season wraps up, the OKC Thunder now know their opponent for Wednesday’s NBA Play-In game and their pathway to a potential first-round series.
The OKC Thunder are back in the NBA postseason. Here is the Oklahoma City Thunder’s NBA Playoff schedule.
The NBA Play-in tournament will tip-off on Tuesday, though the OKC Thunder will be in action on Wednesday. The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel to New Orleans to take on the Pelicans on Wednesday at 8:30 Central Time. The contest will air on ESPN.
This is the only game set in stone for the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, the winner of this matchup with the Pelicans will advance to take on the loser of the Lakers vs. Timberwolves game. Whoever wins that contest will advance to take on the Denver Nuggets.
The Loser of the Pelicans vs. Thunder tilt will be bounced from the NBA postseason.
