The Oklahoma City Thunder have one of the coolest players in the NBA on their roster. Not only is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander cool, but he is an elite basketball player. SGA has always been in the fashion industry. From his flashy outfits pregame toheadlining GQ articles, he is a superstar on and off the court.

This week, the max contract point guard attended the Met Gala in New York City. The Met Gala is a highly renowned fundraising benefit that serves as an opening celebration for the institute’s annual fashion exhibit. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stole the show.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander pulled off a fantastic look with this long black and white colored coat over his tuxedo.

Twitter reacted to the stunning outfit seen above in the appropriate way. An outfit only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could pull off. From his teammate Chet Holmgren, to media in the fashion industry.

SGA even met up with former OKC Thunder superstar Russell Westbrook at the Met Gala.

When Jalen Williams and Josh Giddey were asked if the OKC Thunder were the NBA team with the most “drip” at All-Star weekend, they were pretty confident in their squad. SGA at the Met Gala did a good job of sealing that honor this week.

Despite playing in one of the smallest markets in the league, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has found a way to carve out a niche as one of the coolest and potentially one of the most marketable players we have. Much like his superstar point guard predecessor.

From his MVP level play, to AT&T Commercials, and now stealing the show at the Met Gala, it has been a successful year for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
