The Arkansas Razorbacks program has been kind to the OKC Thunder, Jordan Walsh is the latest combine riser.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have seen a strong connection with the Arkansas Razorbacks program. Especially under head coach Eric Musselman, the Razorbacks have been able to produce a lot of pro-ball players. While they haven’t had the title success of Villanova yet, they can be compared to the Wildcats as a team that grows mature and pro-ready players. Musselman has been excellent at preparing his guys for the next level. The OKC Thunder have benefited from that, with Jaylin Williams and Isaiah Joe playing key roles in the team’s success this year under unusual circumstances.  Williams was thrust into a starting role due to injury, while Joe was their most important bench piece despite not being picked up until mid-October after his release from the 76ers.

The Razorbacks have yet another class of prospects featuring Anthony Black, Nick Smith Jr, Jordan Walsh, and Ricky Council IV. At the 2023 NBA Draft Combine, Jordan Walsh stole the show.

At the NBA Draft Combine, Jordan Walsh played exceptionally well in the scrimmage portion of the event. He played with great force and showed off some excellent connective playmaking and the usual hustle you would expect from Walsh.

However, beyond the scrimmages, the most eye-popping portion of the Combine for Jordan Walsh was his testing, particularly in the three-point drills. He projects to be an early second-round pick.
