The 2023 NBA Draft is right around the corner. The OKC Thunder own the 12th and 50th selections in next week’s Draft. There are rumors of the team trading up from pick 12, whispers that they have already promised away the pick to a rising prospect, and everything in between. There are three players that the OKC Thunder should stay away from in the 2023 NBA Draft with the 12th overall pick.
After trading away the 37th overall pick last week, the focus on the 12th selection only intensifies for the Oklahoma City Thunder fanbase. Will they trade up? Could they even move back? What if they just simply stay put?

The Oklahoma City Thunder fanbase quickly caught up on their 2023 NBA Draft preparation even after a surprising season. At one point, we thought the OKC Thunder were headed for the golden ticket in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes, but the youngest team in the NBA said ‘not so fast, my friends’ and won 40 games to earn themselves a play-in bid.
Now sitting at pick 12, the fanbase is split on what direction Sam Presti should go. Does it make sense to swing for the fences on this lottery pick?
