The NBA announced Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant has been suspended from the league for the first 25 games of the 2023-24 NBA season. That suspension comes with several ripple effects for the rest of the association, including for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ja Morant has made plenty of bad decisions over the past year, which led to Adam Silver’s decision to suspend Morant for the second time in less than half a calendar year. While Morant’s ability to get out of his own way and the help he needs is the first, there are some legit NBA ripple effects from this decision by the league.
