OKC Thunder release full 2023 NBA Summer League Schedule
By Rylan Stiles
The OKC Thunder have wrapped up the 2023 NBA Draft. Bringing in Kentucky guard Cason Wallace with the 10th pick and the Kansas State forward Keyontae Johnson with the 50th pick. The next stop for this draft class and organization is NBA Summer League. Sam Presti confirmed to me at his exit interview that the organization would play in two Summer Leagues.
We already knew the Oklahoma City Thunder were set to play in the 2023 Salt Lake City Summer League session, which will feature a three-game slate spread out by four dates, July 3rd-6th. Now, we know the Summer League schedule for the Vegas tour.
The OKC Thunder release their 2023 NBA Summer League Schedule with two different stops this Summer.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will tip off their NBA Summer League on July 3rd against the host team Jazz with the game set for 8 p.m. (CT). On July 5th, the OKC Thunder will be back in action, taking on the Memphis Grizzlies at 6 p.m. (CT). The Thunder wrap up their Salt Lake City tour on July 6th against the Philadelphia 76ers at 6 p.m. (CT) before heading to Vegas for their second leg of Summer League.
The OKC Thunder will tip off their Vegas tour on July 8th against Dereck Lively II and the Dallas Mavericks at 2:30 P.M. CT on ESPN2. On July 11th, the Thunder will take on Amen Thompson, Cam Whitmore, and the Houston Rockets at 5:30 p.m. CT on NBATV. The Vegas regular season session concludes on July 14th against the Washington Wizards at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will have one of the most exciting teams in the Summer League, at least for Salt Lake City. The OKC Thunder expect Chet Holmgren, Ousmane Dieng, Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace, and Keyontae Johnson to play this Summer. That list should also include Jaylin Williams and many interesting undrafted free-agent signings.
