In their final game at Salt Lake City, Ousmane Dieng had his best outing in the Summer League to help lift the OKC Thunder past the Philadelphia 76ers, 100-91.

Dieng — who scored 13 and four points in the first two games, respectively — finished with 22 points on an efficient 10-of-12 shooting, ten rebounds, three assists, and three steals to take charge for the OKC Thunder that came out of Utah with a 2-1 slate.

The OKC Thunder earned a massive win over the 76ers thanks to Ousmane Dieng’s best Summer League game.

The OKC Thunder were without the services of big men Chet Holmgren, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, and Jaylin Williams, Along with Keyontae Johnson and Jalen Williams remaining out, opening up the floor for Dieng to take the stage.

Dieng picked his spots well throughout the 40-minute game, making the most of the opportunity to gain more reps as a ball handler and an off-ball mover to spark the offense for himself en route to his bounce-back game.

Tre Mann, meanwhile, continued his offensive barrage in the tilt, dropping 23 points predicated on four three-point makes, alongside eight boards and five assists.

The incoming third-year Mann has been averaging 24 points per game in the Summer League on 55 percent shooting from the field on 42 percent from the three-point line, cementing his case as one of the frontrunners for the tournament’s MVP.

Former 16th overall pick Zhaire Smith also showed out for the OKC Thunder, notching 16 points on a perfect 6-of-6 clip to make the most of his 23 minutes on the floor.

Smith was a non-roster invitee raring to return to the league after only playing for 13 games for the 76ers in 2018. Smith was the piece Philly traded Mikal Bridges for on that year’s draft night.

Fellow non-roster invitee Jaden Shackelford added 11 points on 12 shots, while Jared Butler chipped in nine as a starter for the Thunder.

The team will fly to Las Vegas to continue the Summer League, where they will face the Dallas Mavericks on July 8th.
