3 lineups OKC Thunder fans are dying to see in Summer League
By Rylan Stiles
The OKC Thunder have already played three Summer League games so far, all in the Salt Lake City classic. However, as the team heads to Vegas to join the rest of the league, the Thunder finally boasts a full roster. So far in Summer League, Tre Mann has been on an epic hot streak that sees him playing some of the best, most consistent basketball of his professional life. Which is no small feat; Mann struggled in past Summers leading up to this point. Chet Holmgren returned to the floor after nearly a year on the shelf with some monstrous blocks showing his ability to impact the game. It only took one (1) Summer League game for Jalen Williams to graduate with honors.
The OKC Thunder join the rest of the NBA world in Vegas; here are three lineups we are dying to see at Summer League.
In the second leg of a back-to-back to wrap up the Salt Lake City circuit, the OKC Thunder rested Chet Holmgren, Jaylin Williams, Jalen Williams, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, and Keyontae Johnson. Robinson-Earl and Johnson have yet to make their Summer League debuts due to injuries, but given that they remained on the Thunder roster after it was updated this afternoon, it seems as though they will return to the floor soon.
Most importantly, with the new roster update and the NBA moratorium lifting, the Oklahoma City Thunder were finally able to make their draft night draft with the Dallas Mavericks official. This deal sent Cason Wallace to Bricktown, and as he inked his rookie-scale deal with the club on Friday, he is set to make his Summer League debut in Vegas.
While the Salt Lake City portion of Summer League was fun, the lights are much brighter in Vegas. This seems like the true tip-off for the OKC Thunder youngsters. We have already addressed the three things to watch for at Vegas; now let’s dive into the three lineups we are dying to see during Summer League.
