TyTy Washington Jr is a 6’3, 195-pound combo guard who was the 29th pick in the 2022 draft out of Kentucky. Before the draft, he was seen as a mid-to-late first-round draft pick whose lone season at Kentucky was hampered by an ankle injury that affected his draft stock.
He was drafted by the Houston Rockets and spent his first two seasons there. On July 8th, 2023, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks; on July 12th, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder along with Usman Garuba, Rudy Gay, and a 2026 second-round pick for Patty Mills.

In his rookie season, he played thirty-one games, played fourteen minutes per game, and averaged 4.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting thirty-six percent from the floor, twenty-three percent from three and fifty-five percent from the free throw line.
He spent part of his time with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Houston Rockets G-League affiliate, and performed well in those games.
He appeared in 23 games at the G-League level averaging 22.6 points, five rebounds, six assists, and 1.3 STOCKS per game while shooting 43 percent from the floor, 32 percent from beyond the arc, and 83 percent at the charity stripe.
