Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one of the best basketball players in the World, and he is proving that day in and day out at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. The OKC Thunder watched as he became a bonafide Superstar during the 222-23 NBA season, leading the franchise to their first postseason since the 2019-20 campaign that wrapped up in the Disney Bubble.

With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading the way for Team Canada, who have the second-best odds of winning the FIBA World Cup, and Josh Giddey paving the way for Australia, the OKC Thunder duo have seen no shortage of highlight-worthy plays.

The OKC Thunder superstar pulling off such a nasty step back just continues to evaluate his status. Though Thunder fans are used to seeing it, this is an international stage to expose his scoring prowess to a new section of fans.
