The OKC Thunder are on the cusp of one of their most exciting seasons since 2017. With one of the best young cores in the NBA that features a bonafide superstar, multiple NBA lottery picks, and the favorite for coach of the year pacing the sidelines, this should be an exciting ride in Bricktown. Sam Presti tipped off the season with a challenge to the Oklahoma City Thunder fanbase.

On Monday, the OKC Thunder will report to media day and begin training camp the next day to ring in another NBA season officially. The Thunder see their preseason slate tip-off on October 9th before their regular season opener on October 25th.

Sam Presti challenges the OKC Thunder fanbase ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.

With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander looking like one of the best players in the world, Josh Giddey’s dazzling playmaking, Jalen Williams’ electric play, and Chet Holmgren’s generational upside, the OKC Thunder are immediately going to be one of the most exciting team’s to watch this season.

That is not even including the amount of depth Sam Presti has stockpiled in Bricktown during this rebuild, from Isaiah Joe, Kenrich Williams, and Aaron Wiggins to Jaylin Williams, Ousmane Dieng, and Cason Wallace, with many more in between. This Oklahoma City Thunder team is young, deep, and poised for a breakout. It is safe to say you will get a great bang for your buck when you head to Paycom Center this season.

The OKC Thunder had one of the best home-court advantages in NBA history during their first run with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden. Now, as the Thunder rebuild, they hope to get back there.

While Sam Presti admits the team has to earn it, there is no mistaking the importance of showing back up to the Paycom Center after a few years’ absence during the rebuild. Toward the end of last season, the atmosphere picked back up, but the Paycom Center should be rocking this season.
