The OKC Thunder season is here! Typically, the year will kick off with the team’s annual Media Day on Monday as a precursor to Training Camp on Tuesday. Today, the entire Thunder roster and head coach, Mark Daigneault, will meet with those of us in the Media, take promotional shoots, and make video content to be used by the team on various platforms.

Can the Oklahoma City Thunder build on their 16-win improvement from a year ago? How good can the core four of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren be? What is the next step for this Thunder rebuild? These are the burning questions entering the regular season, and Media Day is the season-opening event heard around the NBA.

How to watch the OKC Thunder Media Day, and what to expect ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.

The OKC Thunder will hold their annual Media Day on Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at 11 a.m. Central Standard Time. Those of us in the Media will be in-house to interview players as they get carwashed through multiple different stations.

One of those stations will be the OKC Thunder team broadcast with hosts Chris Fisher, Michael Cage, Paris Lawson, Nick Gallo, Matt Pinto, and Royce Young. That broadcast can be found on the team’s official website and mobile app live, streamed for free.

The Oklahoma City Thunder fanbase has watched a ton of memorable moments at Media Day, from a student-reporter too flustered to ask Russell Westbrook a question to Carmelo Anthony’s “who me?” scoff at coming off the bench. You never know what moments will pop up on Media Day.

With the entire roster fielding lines of questions, the tidbits and insight of information should be plentiful. As you follow along on the team stream, bookmark the Thunderous Intentions website and follow along on Twitter for live coverage from inside the press conference room.
