Well, Thunder Nation, it is time again to go out on some limbs and hope they do not break. Opening day for the OKC Thunder is finally upon us, and it is such a glorious time as everyone starts with the same record: 0-0.

Therefore, no matter how unrealistic it may be, everyone in the league has hope to do something great.

Because we already know what a perennial playoff team looks like, and going out in the first round every year is not fun, the end goal with the OKC Thunder should be chasing championships, not playoff appearances, in order to get to the former, development must occur in the regular season.
