OKC Thunder predictions for the 2023-24 NBA season.

Will the OKC Thunder win over or under 44.5 games this season?

Rylan Stiles: Over.

Alex Mcewen: Over.

Ivan White: Under.

Braxton Reynolds: Over.

Jackson Cosgrove: Over.

How many All-Stars will the OKC Thunder have this season?

Rylan Stiles: One, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Alex Mcewen: One, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. With Jalen Williams as a possible injury replacement candidate.

Ivan White: One, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Braxton Reynolds: One, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

What is your Boldest Prediction for the OKC Thunder this season?

Rylan Stiles: The Thunder get home court advantage in the Western Conference

Alex Mcewen: They will make it into the playoffs as a safe six team. It will be close, they will need help, and it will probably come down to the last day of the regular-season, but give me the safe six baby.

Ivan White: The Thunder win a series in the playoffs… as long as they don’t play the Nuggets or Suns. The Thunder are well-balanced and have a team built for playoff action.
If they can get to the playoffs, don’t be surprised if they end up in the second round. The first-round energy in OKC will be electric, so if the Thunder do face the Nuggets or Suns, they’ll force a game 7.

Braxton Reynolds: My boldest prediction is that OKC finishes top three in Defensive Rating. Last season, they ranked third in contested shots, seventh in deflections, first in charges drawn, eighth in pick-and-roll ball handler defense, and allowed the fourth lowest transition frequency. With Holmgren and Wallace entering the rotation, the Thunder have all of the pieces to place the entire opposing lineup into the Dorture Chamber.

Jackson Cosgrove: Oklahoma City will end up with three lottery picks in the 2024 NBA Draft, courtesy of the Rockets, Clippers, and Jazz. OKC owns a first round pick from each of these teams next year. Top 4-protected from Houston; Top 10-protected from Utah; Unprotected from Los Angeles.

Where will the Thunder finish in the West?

Rylan Stiles: 4th seed.

Alex Mcewen: 6th seed.

Ivan White: 7th seed.

Jackson Cosgrove: 5th seed.
