Wow. What a game. The OKC Thunder have stunned the Cleveland Cavaliers with an epic comeback. The Thunder were down ten points with just two minutes left in the contest and won.

It was a testament to the team and culture the Oklahoma City Thunder has built throughout this rebuild. In Chet Holmgren’s second-ever NBA game, he had a record-breaking game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander played at an MVP level, and the Thunder stole one on the road.

Twitter Reacts to the OKC Thunder pulling off a stunning comeback in Cleveland.

The OKC Thunder did not play their A-game in this contest. Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams struggled offensively for most of the night, Isaiah Joe went 1-for-7 from beyond the arc, and the Thunder turned the ball over 18 times in this game.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren carried the load, with Lu Dort pulling off one of his best regular-season games ever. Dort filled his offensive role perfectly and posted an efficient 25-point outing while dominating on defense against one of the best scorers in the NBA.

The OKC Thunder pulled off a remarkable comeback that can not only jump-start this season, as they are 2-0 for the first time since Russell Westbrook’s MVP season in Bricktown but one we will look back on for this young core. Tonight, this Thunder young core announced their arrival.
