The NBA is introducing a new concept this regular season. Starting Friday, November 3rd, the NBA will begin pool play of the inaugural In-Season tournament. Each Tuesday and Friday throughout the month of November will serve as an In-Season tournament game as well as a standard regular-season game. As part of the event, the OKC Thunder are set to debut a new court.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in a pool with the Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves, and San Antonio Spurs. The OKC Thunder will open up the In-Season tournament on Friday by hosting the Golden State Warriors on this new-look court.

OKC Thunder to debut a brand new court for the In-Season tournament, marking their most adventurous project yet.

The In-Season tournament is going to be a hit, with games counting the same as always; this is just an added layer of stakes to these early season tilts that most complain are boring. It is like the option for double meat at Chipotle. If you want the extra beef, it is a great option! If the Single beef is enough for you, ignore the double meat option!

The OKC Thunder court follows the same template as the rest of the NBA, with the Cup trophy displayed behind the mid-court logo and the lane drawing lines to depict the cup in a more artful style.

The coloring is a little ambitious for Oklahoma City, to with the Sky blue court and sidelines, navy blue paint, and orange logo. While other teams elected to be more conservative with how they painted the court.

On this new-look court, the Thunder will host the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs. As we look back on this Chet Holmgren vs. Victor Wembanyama rivalry, their first matchup will come on this funky-looking hardwood.

The OKC Thunder will travel to take on the Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves, who were a bit more lowkey in their court paint selection with the same trophy concept littered throughout the hardwood, which is uniformed around the association for this event.

The OKC Thunder will look to advance from their pool to the knock out stage next month. From there, the final four teams will head to Vegas to play the semi-finals and Championship game, handing out the first-ever NBA Cup.
