The Oklahoma City Thunder are ending their six-game home stand on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Early in the day, it looked murky as to if Lu Dort would be in the lineup.

The OKC Thunder listed Dort as questionable with a hip strain, and Mark Daigneault even admitted Lu Dort did not feel great at shoot around, which explains his absence at the media viewing portion. However, after warming up with Thunder assistant David Akinyooye before tip-off, Dort felt ready to roll.

OKC Thunder upgrade Lu Dort to available against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, as the Thunder go for a season series sweep.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have upgraded Lu Dort to active against the Cleveland Cavaliers, which helps boost the OKC Thunder lineup ahead of their quest for a season-series sweep.

In the first meeting between these cross-conference foes, the OKC Thunder were able to mount a ten-point comeback in two minutes. In that tilt, the Cavs were without Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen.

Now, Cleveland is fully staffed in the Frontcourt and backcourt, which presents an issue for opposing defenses. The Cavs will present a nightmare with Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland, and having Lu Dort in the fold gives OKC the best chance to negate the attack.

The Oklahoma City Thunder also upgraded Ousmane Dieng (wrist) to available, while Kenrich Williams (Back) and Keyontae Johnson (G League) are both listed as OUT. Thursday presents an off day, and then hit the road for the second in-season tournament tilt of the season in Sacramento.

This will solve some rotation problem for the OKC Thunder, as Mark Daigneault will roll with the standard starting five of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren.
