OKC Thunder are a resilient bunch in blow out win over the Golden State Warriors

Having a team this young requires a lot of patience on both ends of the floor. But the Thunder has shown in their game versus the Warriors that their age is merely a number that does not hold them back.

Oklahoma City has assisted on 31 out of the 44 field goals made by the team in the win — a superb mark that attests to the team’s chemistry and incredible connection on the court.

This connectedness was a leading factor in the squad’s breakaway run in the first half, which saw them outrun, outhustle, and outmaneuver the Warriors on offense and defense to create a headstart early. That stretch did not involve superstar Shai Gigeous-Alexander as the team was led by the likes of Jalen Williams, and the energy of bench guys Cason Wallace, Kenrich Williams, Vasilje Micic, and Isaiah Joe, who was a takeaway in and of itself.

The OKC Thunder had an offensive rating of 128 points while notching a defensive rating of 110 against the Warriors, which shows how balanced the team was despite some struggles with key players. From top to bottom, the Thunder indeed had each others’ backs every game.
