The OKC Thunder currently sit a game out of first place in the NBA Western Conference with an 11-5 record. Just hours away from fighting it out for the top spot in the West, you probably did not expect a Mock Draft round-up to hit the site today.

However, that is the nature of this Thunder rebuild. Sam Presti has compiled so many picks from so many different organizations that the OKC Thunder will routinely own multiple picks and selections in the Lottery, independent of how good they are doing on the court.

With College Basketball’s “feast week” behind us, we have a three-week sample size for most prospects. That has led to the first round of NBA Mock Drafts! It is the most wonderful time of the year for draft nerds like me.

The latest Mock Draft allows OKC Thunder to nab rising star’s brother with another top-ten pick.

In the 2023 NBA Draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder own first-round picks from the Houston Rockets (Top-Four protected), Utah Jazz (Top-Ten protected), L.A. Clippers (Unprotected, and their own selection. However, the worst of those four picks will head to Indiana as part of a previous trade.

Bleacher Report released their latest NBA Mock Draft, the first of the regular season from Jonathan Wasserman. The OKC Thunder were given the ninth (Via Clippers), 15th (Via Rockets), and 44th overall pick (Via Rockets). The Utah Jazz pick fell at pick six, staying with Utah, which left the OKC Thunder’s pick as the lowest remaining pick to send to Indiana.
