The 2024-25 season is revealing quite a ton of things about this OKC Thunder team and their players.

From Jalen Williams officially claiming All-Star status to Ajay Mitchell establishing himself as yet another late-round draft gem during the Sam Presti era, Oklahoma City has witnessed success and all-around impressive production from virtually every player who has stepped foot on the floor.

The most recent stand-out performance came during the club's Friday night bout against the Utah Jazz.

In a game where the entire starting-lineup was shelved for what appears to be rest purposes, third-year big Jaylin Williams assumed the role of Swiss Army man in an effort to make up for their missing contributions.

What wound up ensuing was a triple-double stat line of 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, along with 2 stocks while shooting a highly efficient 71.4 percent from the field and 60.0 percent from deep in just 25 minutes of play.

Not only was Williams' play a major catalyst in the team's 145-111 blowout win over Utah, but it was also rather significant for the Thunder's history books.

Jaylin Williams has fourth-most triple-doubles in OKC Thunder history

With this finish on the night, Jaylin Williams has now registered his third triple-double on the year, slotting him in with the fourth-best mark since the franchise established themselves as the Oklahoma City Thunder back in 2007.

Ahead of him are the likes of Russell Westbrook (138), Josh Giddey (11), and Kevin Durant (seven).

Expanding beyond just the team's Sooner State tenure and including the Seattle SuperSonics era into the mix, Jay Will still finds himself stacking up within the top 10 of all time, slotting in right behind Nate McMillan and Slick Watts (four apiece) and tied up with Jack Sikma.

The 22-year-old has become a locker room and overall fan favorite throughout his Thunder career, and with every passing season, it seems he has added a standout component to his repertoire.

In year one, he shined with his floor spacing abilities. During his sophomore campaign, it was his defensive versatility that received ample praise.

Now, in year three, his passing skills have been on full display.

Though, obviously, these stat-sheet-stuffing performances aren't bound to come on a nightly basis, as OKC is stocked with players ahead of him in the usage pecking order, even when logging minutes in a fully intact rotation, coach Mark Daigneault noted, "he still plays that way," though, due to the more narrow role he fills, the numbers may not show it.

Put all of these attributes together, and you have one of the most coveted frontcourt contributors in the game today hiding in the shadows on this Thunder squad.
