After being pummeled by the OKC Thunder on Wednesday night, it appears superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has given up on taking the high road when it comes to the current situation between him and the Milwaukee Bucks.

During his post-game media session, the two-time MVP laid into his ball club like never before, as he told reporters that "we're not playing to win" and that his teammates are "being selfish" and "trying to do it on their own."

These remarks come amid ongoing rumors that Giannis and Milwaukee could be heading for a split ahead of the February 5 trade deadline, with ESPN's Brian Windhorst recently reporting that many front offices across the association expect there to be a "divorce" of sorts in the not-too-distant future.

Though the 31-year-old has generally held his emotions in check and kept his responses to that of politician-esque non-answers throughout the season, it appears the Bucks' 122-102 blowout loss to the Thunder has pushed him to a place he's rarely gone before.

Loss to Thunder has Giannis Antetokounmpo airing out grievances

Should Giannis actually be placed on the trade block over these last few weeks leading into the 2026 deadline, it's safe to say that there will be no shortage of teams across the association dialing up Milwaukee inquiring about his services.

Now in his 13 season in the association, the forward still finds himself up there with Thunder cornerstone Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as being in the conversation for the best player in the game today, as he's producing to the tune of 28.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per night while shooting 64.7 percent from the floor and 39.5 percent from distance.

Of course, the question isn't whether teams will be interested in trading for him, but rather, which ones can actually afford to do so.

Unless the Thunder wish to unexpectedly shake things up with a blockbuster of their own for the All-World megastar, the clubs that are most often viewed as likely players for Giannis are the New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, and, surprisingly, the Golden State Warriors, though darkhorses like the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets are also considered to be in play.

With just 14 days remaining before the league-mandated trade cut-off, the belief that Giannis could be heading out of Cream City seems to be stronger than ever, and his recent remarks following OKC's trouncing of the Bucks only add more fuel to this proverbial fire.
