Between their tenures both out in the Emerald City and the Sooner State, the OKC Thunder have seen quite a number of top-billed talents representing the organization throughout their near-60-year existence.
Many of said players managed to work their way into the upper-echelon league discussions, 15 of whom were even deemed worthy of consideration and, in some instances, earning the game's illustrious Most Valuable Player award.

Over the last several years, the Thunder have had numerous players take home MVP honors.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the most recent recipient, as he's taken home the Michael Jordan Trophy in each of the last two seasons behind averages of 32.0 points, 6.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 1.6 steals and just shy of a block per game while becoming one of the most consistent scoring weapons the game has ever seen.
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant are the only other players in franchise history to receive such an honor, with the former doing so during the first of his four triple-double seasons in 2016-17 and the latter taking home the award in 2012 after leading the league in points per game with 32.0 while guiding Oklahoma City to their first NBA Finals berth since their Seattle days.

Including the MVP winners, there have been 14 total players throughout the franchise's history who have placed within the top 10 in voting.
The highest non-recipients are Paul George, who finished third during his incredible 2018-19 season, and Gary "The Glove" Payton, who also wrapped up in third place after losing out to His Airness himself, Michael Jordan, in the MVP race.
The other nine include Chris Paul (2020), Ray Allen (2005), Vin Baker (1998), Shawn Kemp (1996), Gus Williams (1982), Jack Sikma (1982 & 1979), Dennis Johnson (1980), and Spencer Haywood (1973 & 1972).
Past MVP candidates who never managed to crack the top 10 in votes include the likes of Marvin Webster (1978) and Fred Brown (1975).
