The OKC Thunder have come out of the All-Star break looking refreshed and firing on all cylinders. Fresh off a win over the LA Clippers, the Thunder wasted no time messing around with the lowly Washington Wizards as the Thunder defeated Washington 106-147.

Oklahoma City best together some impressive statistics in their win over the Wizards, such as scoring a season-high 147 points, shooting a crisp 59 percent from the floor, and tying a franchise record for best shooting percentage in a single half after shooting an astounding 72.7 percent in the game's opening half.

Stars being stars

It has become customary for the Thunder's stars to be superb performances, and they did so again on Friday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 30 points on fewer than 20 shots, while playing under 30 minutes, and this contest marks the 41st game of the year where he scored 30 or more.

Conversely, Chet Holmgren was equally imposing as he scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, giving him his 16th double-double of the season, tying a franchise record for the most double-doubles by a Thunder rookie. Josh Giddey currently holds the record at 16, and Russell Westbrook is third with 10.

Overall, the Thunder put on a true team performance as 14 players saw playing time and seven scored in double figures. As for Washington, Jordan Poole led the way with 21 points off the bench, and they looked like a team who would rather still be on break, as they currently sit at 9-47 awaiting official playoff elimination.
