5 2024 NBA Draft prospects Thunder should be watching during March Madness

2. Donovan Clingan - Connecticut
Standing 7-foot-2, Donovan Clingan is one of the tallest prospects in this entire draft class. With his Connecticut Huskies bidding for a number one seed in the NCAA tournament and with the Thunder in need of some additional size, Oklahoma City will no doubt be evaluating him as a potential fit on their roster.
Clingan is projected by many to be selected in the lottery come June. Operating as a more traditional big, his imposing presence on the interior has allowed him to dominate the college ranks. Playing next to an all-world talent in the frontcourt at the next level like Chet Holmgren could allow him to affect the game in a similar fashion in his professional career.
3. Rob Dillingham - Kentucky
The lead guard for the Kentucky Wildcats, Rob Dillingham is a quick perimeter scorer with impressive, versatile scoring talent. Known for his ability to pull up from anywhere or get to the cup at will, Dillingham presents himself as a potential lottery pick based on how he effortlessly dominates defenders at the college level.
Rob gets his game off despite the crowded spacing of NCAA basketball. With NBA spacing, he will have a chance to be an even more lethal scorer, and that is why he likely to be picked up within the first 10 picks in the draft.
