Best NBA prop bets today for Celtics vs. Thunder (Value on Jalen Williams)
By Peter Dewey
The best game of the night in the NBA is between the East-leading Boston Celtics and the West’s No. 2 seed – the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder are home underdogs in this one – a spot they’ve been in just four times this season – but I’m actually eyeing the prop market for my favorite plays on Tuesday night.
If you’re looking to bet on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and one Celtics player, I have picks for all of that tonight.
Let’s dive into the bets:

Celtics vs. Thunder best NBA prop bets
- Jalen Williams OVER 24.5 points, rebounds and assists
- Jaylen Brown OVER 28.5 points and rebounds
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 5.5 assists
Jalen Williams OVER 24.5 points, rebounds and assists
On the season, Williams is averaging 18.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game while shooting 41.6 percent from 3-point range.
He’s cleared 24.5 PRA in five straight games for the Thunder, and he’s done it 15 times this season.
Williams isn’t going to put up a triple-double (he hasn’t all season), but he does stuff the stat sheet for OKC and is more than capable of a 20-point night. I like him to go OVER in what should be a close game on Tuesday.
Jaylen Brown OVER 28.5 points and rebounds
Jaylen Brown is playing some great basketball for Boston, averaging 23.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Over his last seven games, he’s cleared this prop six times, averaging 26.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game over that stretch.
OKC plays at the No. 7 pace in the NBA, so I could see this game being an uptempo game with both teams getting plenty of possessions. That bodes well for an OVER for Brown.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 5.5 assists
With Jrue Holiday and Derrick White likely shadowing SGA all night, I think he could be more of a passer than normal tonight.
The Thunder superstar has cleared 5.5 dimes 18 times in 30 games this season, and he’s averaging 6.3 assists per game.
Boston does allow the third-fewest assists per game in the NBA, but SGA has the ball in his hands so much that he could still clear this prop if the Celtics try to take him away as a scorer.
